Reflecting back on the time we shared today. The gravitational lust remains consistent. In this intense obsession.
A single portrait of incompatibility. Tears me apart before I get attached. My lust within Aggression.
You’re only causing a tragedy. I need your Love. Please understand what it means to me. When I feel your touch.
My loneliness in misery. I need your love. You’re only causing a Tragedy. When I feel your touch.
You were reacting so differently tonight. Was I behaving too irresponsible? I’m waiting for an answer.
I blame the tension of sexuality. Creating rhythm too much like machinery. Infecting us like cancer.
Musik & Lyrics 3-30-01 / 7-23-01 By: Breye Kiser for Provision Musik Backing Vocals on the original version performed by Matt Coker
Recorded and Produced at Covision Creative by Breye Kiser & Carlos Covarrubias. Mastered by Brian Hazard at Resonance Mastering.
Tragedy was originally written as an exclusive track for David Lin of Synthphony Records to appear on a compilation he was going to release in late 2001. The compilation was never released, and even though Matt Coker and I recorded an original version of Tragedy; the song went through a revision when Alex Virlios joined the band.
We began performing it live when Alex joined the group and the song was a hit on the Evaporate U.S. Tour. You can see a live video of this song with Alex on Lead Vocals on our Official Myspace Page and You Tube and on our Live Videos page.
Carlos and I recorded Tragedy in 2004 at Covision Creative, and it was released as an exclusive B-Side on the Could've Had It All single released by A Different Drum.
After Alex left Provision, Tragedy was never performed live again.
