The idea behind The Only Thing had been on my mind since the
Liberation Winter Tour 2002.
Touring without Jen was always hard, and not being home made me
wonder if she ever questioned my loyalty to her.
Many times I regretted having to be away, and even though I stayed
in touch by phone and postcard, I needed to write this song to finally
let her know that she truly is The Only Thing for me.
