Provision's Final Show of 2011 @ Fitzgerald's in Houston, Texas
Saturday December 17th, 2011 - Houston Press 2011 Music Awards "BEST ELECTRONIC BAND" Nominees:
Provision (Houston, TX) and //TENSE// (Houston, TX) together on stage for the first time ever!!
With Special Opening Guest - Post Faction (Houston, TX) making their Debut Performance!!
And your DJ's for the night - DJ Rob of The New Beat, and DJ Xcess of Past Present Productions
spinning before, in-between; and after the bands.
For all the fans coming out to Provision's final live show of 2011, the band
has some special surprises in store for all of you.
For the first time ever in the history of Provision, Breye, Matt, and Jen will be backed by an Electronic
Drummer. The band is thrilled and honored to have Jon Yates of Underground Netwerk Intelligence
(Formerly of Except Europa) playing drums on stage with them for what promises to be a killer night of
Industrial Dance and Dark Synthpop.
The band is also once again, performing a completely different set; which includes a classic that hasn't been
performed live in 8 years!! This is Provision's Final Show of 2011, and they're going out with a bang!!
It's going to be an incredible night of Live Electronic music you do not want to miss!

In Closing
2011 has been a wonderful year for Provision. Jen, Matt, and Breye have had the honor of performing at the
legendary House of Blues this year, as well as playing once again at Houston's own Number's Nightclub;
which is an institution and a legend in itself. In 2011, they shared the stage with T-4-2, Clan of Xymox,
Christopher Anton, and their great friends Anything Box. Provision has printed their first ever merch
designed by one of their very own fans from Poland. And the band has continually changed their set lists
this year, to include songs that haven't been played live in many years; and they've even debuted songs
that have never been performed.
The band says "It's been an incredible journey over the last year, promoting our new album "Paradigm Shift"
and getting to meet so many new fans; while sharing the stage with so many talented acts who we know and
love. It's also been heartwarming to see the old school die hard fans who are still showing up to support us,
and for that we cannot thank you enough! We love each and every one of you and we can't wait for what 2012
holds."

Numbers Show #108 Thank You!
Matt, Breye, and Jen would like to thank all the fans that came out to their last show on the 8th of October at
Numbers in Houston, Texas. They truly appreciate the support, and the love everyone showed them during
the evening. Those in attendance were the first to see the brand new Provision "Images" T-Shirts,
Mousepads, Keychains, and other cool new products like the Provision Messenger Bag, and Thermal Mug.
The crowd was also very fortunate to hear tracks that have not been played in many years. Including the
Provision B-Side "Tragedy", and the Classic Evaporate album Hit - "Memories". To those who missed the
show, you definitely don't want to miss what Provision has in store for their next Live performance!

9-22-2011 Official Update
Has it really been almost 5 months since the last Provision update? Well that's way to long!
The Clan of Xymox show in May at Numbers - Houston, TX was unreal. Provision performed to over 1000 fans,
many of whom drove in from other cities and states; to see Clan Of Xymox for the only U.S. date of 2011.
Provision was honored to open the show, and have former Bassist Carlos Covarrubias join them on stage
for what may have been the best Provision show to date.
Provision is super excited about their next upcoming live performance as they return to Numbers on
October 8th 2011, to share the stage with some Veteran Legends of the Synthpop genre.
Provision's label - Kathodik Records has officially launched their website, and Breye's former band
Underground Netwerk Intelligence has it's first show in 10 years coming up at Numbers on Saturday October
15th 2011.
Provision is currently booking more shows for the Fall of 2011 to round out the end of the year, so please
read on for the latest news!!

Provision Returns to Numbers with Anything Box & T42!!!
Provision returns to Numbers on Saturday October 8th 2011, where they will share the stage once again
with Synthpop Legends - ANYTHING BOX and T-4-2. Christopher ANTON of Information Society is also on the
bill, and Houston's own DJ Marc "E-Nertia" Nicholson will be spinning before, during, and after the bands.
This night promises to be an incredible event, and surely the Synthpop Event of the Year for 2011 in Texas!!

Kathodik Records.com Officially Launches
Provision's record label - Kathodik Records, pronounced - "Kuh thawd Ick" and inspired by the word
Cathodic which means "A negatively charged electrode, as in an electrolytic cell, a storage battery, or an
electron tube" has launched their Official Website at - WWW.KATHODIKRECORDS.COM
Kathodik Records is home to Provision, Underground Netwerk Intelligence, and their newest signing;
Houston's Newest Dark Electronic Dance act - "My Beloved Machine".
Kathodik Records was born in 1996 by Breye Kiser of Underground Netwerk Intelligence (U-N-I) and Ritchie
Hey of Sensorium, out of frustration in dealing with local and regional independent record labels, and
wanting to have more control over their releases, shows, and recording options.
The label released debut albums by Sensorium, and Underground Netwerk Intelligence (U-N-I) and quickly
became known by the masses as they assaulted Texas audiences with live performances; and multiple billed
events including the bands they signed from 1996 to 1999 including - Wraith, The Mirror System,
Prominence, and Closedown (Which later became Provision). Many of the shows and events that featured
Kathodik Records acts in the 90's, were hosted at Houston's most Legendary Industrial Nightclub - The
Cellar; which was managed by Breye and employed many of the members of bands on the Kathodik's label
roster.
The Official Kathodik Records website is simple and clean, easy to navigate, and will always keep you up to
date on what the bands are up to; weather it's live or in the studio.

Provision to be joined by former live member for show #107
After discussions in early February, the band came to an agreement to be joined on stage for Show #107 with
Clan of Xymox in Houston at Numbers; by former Live Bassist - Carlos Covarrubias.
Carlos will be playing Live Bass Guitar on stage this Saturday, to augment some of the classic Provision
songs that he used to perform with Provision; during the Visualize and Consequence eras of the band from
2004 to 2006.
Hopefully you have your ticket by now and plan to be at this Exclusive U.S. show with Clan of Xymox and
Provision, featuring special live guest - Carlos Covarrubias. Saturday night at Numbers promises to be
incredible, and Provision plans to make it one that the fans will never forget!
TECH-NOIR - Houston's Newest Darkwave Monthly
Besides being musicians, Provision members Breye and Jen are both Veteran Dj's, who have created
multiple club nights over the last 15 years including The Cellar, Danseparc, Red Square, and Icon; among
others. Both Jen and Breye have held multiple residencies, and they've been special guests at many clubs
in Houston, Texas, and even while on Tour with Provision across the U.S.
In mid April 2011, Breye & Jen teamed up with Local Houston Promoter Eric Dean (Walter's on Washington,
Mango's, Etc...) to start a new Friday Night monthly at Mango's Montrose.
TECH-NOIR is Houston's new Monthly Darkwave Dance party, and I am proud to announce that the
Official Kick Off Party on Friday April 22nd 2011 was a huge success!!!

In Closing
Breye has informed me that after the Clan of Xymox show, the band will begin to work on new songs for their
5th album, as of yet to be titled. The first lyrical submission for the album has been written by Matt Willis, and
is predicted to be a track of Epic Synthpop Style.
If this is any indication of where Provision is planning to head with their next release, we might just be
expecting a definitive Synthpop album with Provision possibly returning to their early roots. Only time will
tell.

Provision's New Live Show for 2011
In keeping with the tradition of continually changing Provision's live show with each new
formation and new album release, the band will be unveiling it's new live set up and new
light show at their first performance of 2011 in Dallas, Texas @ The House of Blues when they
share the stage with T-4-2
Breye, Matt, and Jen have been rehearsing in the studio for the past few weeks, and they've
informed me that they'll be pulling out some songs from their previous albums that haven't
been played live in at least 5 years!!
Expect to hear brand new stuff from "Paradigm Shift" as well as classics you know and love.
Breye states "With our new live configuration, and the transition to LED's for our intelligent lighting;
the live shows this year are going to be intense. We can't wait to get on stage for the fans,
and unleash new songs from Paradigm Shift!"

Paradigm Shift - Provision's New Album
Provision's 4th album was released worldwide on Saturday November 20th 2010.
It is available for purchase and download here through the Official Website via the web store

The physical C.D. version of Paradigm Shift features 10 tracks by
Provision, in a jewel case with an 8 page booklet featuring lyrics, photos,
production notes, and thank you's.
The digital download of the album features all 10 album tracks in whatever
digital format you choose, and includes all of the album art / booklet as
digital files that you can view on your computer.
All 3 band members have contributed to all 10 songs on this release in terms of writing, performing,
engineering, and production; making this the most unified album effort to date.
For the recording and production of Paradigm Shift, Provision enlisted the assistance of long time friend
and music supporter Marq Mosier as Mix Consultant; and former Provision member Carlos Covarrubias as
an Assistant Engineer.
The band was honored to have another Provision album mastered at Resonance Mastering
by Brian Hazard, who mastered the previous 2 Provision albums "The Consequence" and "Visualize".
Breye, Jen, and Matt have collectively moved into new territory with Paradigm Shift, and fans will sense a
darker, edgier feel than in previous Provision albums as a whole. Stylistically, this album leans more towards
Industrial Dance and less towards Synthpop; with harder edged tracks rounding out 8 of the 10 songs
featured on their 4th full length L.P.
Fans will also hear vocals by all 3 band members on this album, with Matt singing backing vocals; and Jen
singing both Lead and Backing vocals. Paradigm Shift is the first Provision L.P. since their debut album
"Evaporate" to feature vocals from other members than just Breye.
Paradigm Shift sees Provision moving into a new era of the band, as Jen and Matt were involved in more
than half of the writing of the album. The new material and darker feel will definitely show that Matt and Jen's
contributions have made a significant impact to the band, and those who have seen Provision live this year

Album #5 and getting back to writing
Beginning in February of 2011, Provision will begin writing new music for their yet to be
titled 5th album due out later this year.
The band recently liquidated some older gear and re-organized their studio - Red Square Digital.
They have purchased quite an array of new equipment to begin working on new songs for their next release.
The initial response from fans and Dj's alike has been nothing but positive,
on Provision's newest album "Paradigm Shift".
Breye, Matt, and Jen plan to stay on track, and keep moving forward in 2011.
Breye states "There is no planned direction as to where we will head in terms of new material. What Matt and
Jen have brought to the creative team, in terms of style and sound; was made evident on our newest album
Paradigm Shift. But you can be certain that what we produce, will remain true within it's roots; to the
Provision style and sound."
As a huge fan myself, I feel we deserve nothing less; and I know that Provision will not disappoint.
The band has informed me that new songs will be premiered at upcoming live shows this year,
which has always remained one of the most exciting things about seeing Provision live.

Drummer. The band is thrilled and honored to have Jon Yates of Underground Netwerk Intelligence
(Formerly of Except Europa) playing drums on stage with them for what promises to be a killer night of
Industrial Dance and Dark Synthpop.
The band is also once again, performing a completely different set; which includes a classic that hasn't been
performed live in 8 years!! This is Provision's Final Show of 2011, and they're going out with a bang!!

In Closing
2011 has been a wonderful year for Provision. Jen, Matt, and Breye have had the honor of performing at the
legendary House of Blues this year, as well as playing once again at Houston's own Number's Nightclub;
which is an institution and a legend in itself. In 2011, they shared the stage with T-4-2, Clan of Xymox,
Christopher Anton, and their great friends Anything Box. Provision has printed their first ever merch
designed by one of their very own fans from Poland. And the band has continually changed their set lists
this year, to include songs that haven't been played live in many years; and they've even debuted songs
that have never been performed.
The band says "It's been an incredible journey over the last year, promoting our new album "Paradigm Shift"
and getting to meet so many new fans; while sharing the stage with so many talented acts who we know and
love. It's also been heartwarming to see the old school die hard fans who are still showing up to support us,
and for that we cannot thank you enough! We love each and every one of you and we can't wait for what 2012
holds."

Numbers Show #108 Thank You!
Matt, Breye, and Jen would like to thank all the fans that came out to their last show on the 8th of October at
Numbers in Houston, Texas. They truly appreciate the support, and the love everyone showed them during

9-22-2011 Official Update
Has it really been almost 5 months since the last Provision update? Well that's way to long!
The Clan of Xymox show in May at Numbers - Houston, TX was unreal. Provision performed to over 1000 fans,
many of whom drove in from other cities and states; to see Clan Of Xymox for the only U.S. date of 2011.
Provision was honored to open the show, and have former Bassist Carlos Covarrubias join them on stage
for what may have been the best Provision show to date.
Provision is super excited about their next upcoming live performance as they return to Numbers on
October 8th 2011, to share the stage with some Veteran Legends of the Synthpop genre.
Provision's label - Kathodik Records has officially launched their website, and Breye's former band
Underground Netwerk Intelligence has it's first show in 10 years coming up at Numbers on Saturday October
15th 2011.
Provision is currently booking more shows for the Fall of 2011 to round out the end of the year, so please

with Synthpop Legends - ANYTHING BOX and T-4-2. Christopher ANTON of Information Society is also on the

Provision's record label - Kathodik Records, pronounced - "Kuh thawd Ick" and inspired by the word
Cathodic which means "A negatively charged electrode, as in an electrolytic cell, a storage battery, or an

Kathodik Records is home to Provision, Underground Netwerk Intelligence, and their newest signing;
Houston's Newest Dark Electronic Dance act - "My Beloved Machine".
Kathodik Records was born in 1996 by Breye Kiser of Underground Netwerk Intelligence (U-N-I) and Ritchie
Hey of Sensorium, out of frustration in dealing with local and regional independent record labels, and
wanting to have more control over their releases, shows, and recording options.
The label released debut albums by Sensorium, and Underground Netwerk Intelligence (U-N-I) and quickly
became known by the masses as they assaulted Texas audiences with live performances; and multiple billed
events including the bands they signed from 1996 to 1999 including - Wraith, The Mirror System,
Prominence, and Closedown (Which later became Provision). Many of the shows and events that featured
Kathodik Records acts in the 90's, were hosted at Houston's most Legendary Industrial Nightclub - The
Cellar; which was managed by Breye and employed many of the members of bands on the Kathodik's label
roster.

Provision to be joined by former live member for show #107
After discussions in early February, the band came to an agreement to be joined on stage for Show #107 with
Clan of Xymox in Houston at Numbers; by former Live Bassist - Carlos Covarrubias.
Carlos will be playing Live Bass Guitar on stage this Saturday, to augment some of the classic Provision
songs that he used to perform with Provision; during the Visualize and Consequence eras of the band from
2004 to 2006.
Hopefully you have your ticket by now and plan to be at this Exclusive U.S. show with Clan of Xymox and
Provision, featuring special live guest - Carlos Covarrubias. Saturday night at Numbers promises to be
incredible, and Provision plans to make it one that the fans will never forget!
TECH-NOIR - Houston's Newest Darkwave Monthly
Besides being musicians, Provision members Breye and Jen are both Veteran Dj's, who have created
multiple club nights over the last 15 years including The Cellar, Danseparc, Red Square, and Icon; among
others. Both Jen and Breye have held multiple residencies, and they've been special guests at many clubs
in Houston, Texas, and even while on Tour with Provision across the U.S.
In mid April 2011, Breye & Jen teamed up with Local Houston Promoter Eric Dean (Walter's on Washington,
Mango's, Etc...) to start a new Friday Night monthly at Mango's Montrose.
TECH-NOIR is Houston's new Monthly Darkwave Dance party, and I am proud to announce that the
Official Kick Off Party on Friday April 22nd 2011 was a huge success!!!

1-11-2011 Official Update
Provision would like to welcome everyone into the New Year - 2011!!
Provision's 4th album was released on November 20th 2010 and is available now.
And as you would expect no less from Provision... Matt, Jen, and Breye are kicking the new year off
with a handful of Official C.D. Release shows, a special dance party event, and another Festival appearance!

Provision's New Live Show for 2011
In keeping with the tradition of continually changing Provision's live show with each new
formation and new album release, the band will be unveiling it's new live set up and new
light show at their first performance of 2011 in Dallas, Texas @ The House of Blues when they
share the stage with T-4-2
Breye, Matt, and Jen have been rehearsing in the studio for the past few weeks, and they've
informed me that they'll be pulling out some songs from their previous albums that haven't
been played live in at least 5 years!!
Expect to hear brand new stuff from "Paradigm Shift" as well as classics you know and love.
Breye states "With our new live configuration, and the transition to LED's for our intelligent lighting;
the live shows this year are going to be intense. We can't wait to get on stage for the fans,
and unleash new songs from Paradigm Shift!"

Paradigm Shift - Provision's New Album
Provision's 4th album was released worldwide on Saturday November 20th 2010.
It is available for purchase and download here through the Official Website via the web store
and directly on Provision's Bandcamp site.
Fans who purchase the new album directly through the Provision Bandcamp site, will have the option to
purchase the physical album; and receive an immediate digital download of the album in whatever format
you choose...while you wait for your physical copy to arrive.
There will also be a digital only option for those who no longer purchase physical C.D.'s
Breye, Jen, and Matt are very proud of their latest album and filmed a short Thank You video for the fans
on their final night of recording at Red Square Digital.

Paradigm Shift - Album Completion & Thank You Video
The physical C.D. version of Paradigm Shift features 10 tracks by
Provision, in a jewel case with an 8 page booklet featuring lyrics, photos,
production notes, and thank you's.
The digital download of the album features all 10 album tracks in whatever
digital format you choose, and includes all of the album art / booklet as
digital files that you can view on your computer.
All 3 band members have contributed to all 10 songs on this release in terms of writing, performing,
engineering, and production; making this the most unified album effort to date.
For the recording and production of Paradigm Shift, Provision enlisted the assistance of long time friend
and music supporter Marq Mosier as Mix Consultant; and former Provision member Carlos Covarrubias as
an Assistant Engineer.
The band was honored to have another Provision album mastered at Resonance Mastering
by Brian Hazard, who mastered the previous 2 Provision albums "The Consequence" and "Visualize".
Breye, Jen, and Matt have collectively moved into new territory with Paradigm Shift, and fans will sense a
darker, edgier feel than in previous Provision albums as a whole. Stylistically, this album leans more towards
Industrial Dance and less towards Synthpop; with harder edged tracks rounding out 8 of the 10 songs
featured on their 4th full length L.P.
Fans will also hear vocals by all 3 band members on this album, with Matt singing backing vocals; and Jen
singing both Lead and Backing vocals. Paradigm Shift is the first Provision L.P. since their debut album
"Evaporate" to feature vocals from other members than just Breye.
Paradigm Shift sees Provision moving into a new era of the band, as Jen and Matt were involved in more
than half of the writing of the album. The new material and darker feel will definitely show that Matt and Jen's
contributions have made a significant impact to the band, and those who have seen Provision live this year
and had the chance to hear new tracks such as Waiting, Love Like Machinery, Paradigm Shift, and Crossline;
already know what to expect from Provision on their 4th album. It's darker, edgier, and relentless in it's
assault of the dancefloor.

Album #5 and getting back to writing
Beginning in February of 2011, Provision will begin writing new music for their yet to be
titled 5th album due out later this year.
The band recently liquidated some older gear and re-organized their studio - Red Square Digital.
They have purchased quite an array of new equipment to begin working on new songs for their next release.
The initial response from fans and Dj's alike has been nothing but positive,
on Provision's newest album "Paradigm Shift".
Breye, Matt, and Jen plan to stay on track, and keep moving forward in 2011.
Breye states "There is no planned direction as to where we will head in terms of new material. What Matt and
Jen have brought to the creative team, in terms of style and sound; was made evident on our newest album
Paradigm Shift. But you can be certain that what we produce, will remain true within it's roots; to the
Provision style and sound."
As a huge fan myself, I feel we deserve nothing less; and I know that Provision will not disappoint.
The band has informed me that new songs will be premiered at upcoming live shows this year,
which has always remained one of the most exciting things about seeing Provision live.
In Closing
