Lies is a purely fictional song written at a time that I was being lied
to by my fiancé but didn't know, and even though it seems
coincidental I didn't write this song about her.
This is a song I feel anyone can relate to.

I can't honestly say how I feel about this song except that the
ending was always my favorite part. It has this lead that Leslie
wrote, and the way it carries the song to it's end with the strings is
what did it for me.

This song was only performed live during 2001 with the original line
up of myself, Leslie Hyman, and Matt Coker.
