Innocence       130 bpm                                MP3 Sample

That cold familiar feel of rejection.
A loss of innocence, and perfection.
Something inside. Bringing me down.
My deepest fear is what you’ve found.

It is not our fault. The world is falling apart.
Here before my eyes. The planet dies.

Musik & Lyrics 8-10-99
By: Leslie Hyman & Breye Kiser for Provision Musik

Recorded and Produced at Red Square Digital
by Breye Kiser & Leslie Hyman
Mastered by Breye 7x at Red Square Digital

Innocence was the first song that Leslie and I ever wrote together.

After moving back from Chicago in the summer of 1999, Leslie joined
U-N-I as our new lead keyboardist and when we first wrote it,
Innocence was probably meant to be a U-N-I song. Much like Inertia
though, Innocence took on a sound and style of it's own; and didn't
make the cut for the U-N-I album Korruption.

Since Leslie convinced me to start Provision with her, it only seemed
fitting that we title our first official release after the first song we
ever wrote together. The
Innocence E.P. featured the first 5 songs
we'd recorded towards our debut, and the exclusive B-Side
"Innocence".

The Innocence E.P. was limited to 100 copies, and sold out in less
than 2 months. It still remains as one of Provision's most sought
after releases. Feel free to check
Ebay and the internet for a copy.

Innocence was only performed live by Alex, Leslie, Kelly and I.
And only during the Liberation Winter Tour 2002, and on the
Evaporate U.S. and Devotional Tours in 2003.
