Illusion was written for Jen while I was on the Evaporate U.S. Tour in
March of 2003. While away from Jen I only fell even more deeply in
love with her, and upon my return I began the composition that
would become Illusion.

We shot a beautiful music video on the beach for this song, and it
remains my favorite Provision song of all time. You can check out the
Illusion music video on our Official Myspace Page and You Tube. And
also in the Ikons section of our website here, under videos.

The original version of this song features Alex Virlios on backing
vocals and appears on our Devotion E.P. and the State of Synthpop
2003 Compilation, both of which are out of print.

Feel free to check Ebay when searching out those now rare releases.

Illusion was always received extremely well, everytime we performed
it live. I'll always miss the times when I shared the stage with Alex,
and sang this song with him.
