Blinded by an ideal. Dancing to the sound, of distant bombs. Those days were so unreal. I realized when I could not feel your heart, beating anymore.
A divided line. The day you said you were mine. No cyanide. Nor bullet. Could ever separate us. This time.
Music: 11-16-2005 Lyrics: 8-24-2005 By: Jen Foxx for Provision Musik Percussion, Lead Solos, & Glass Pads by Breye 7x
Recorded and Produced at Red Square Digital by Breye 7x & Jen Foxx Mastered by Brian Hazard at Resonance Mastering.
Ideal was the final song to be composed for our 3rd album The Consequence. The song was built around the lyrics that Jen had written, and the original skeleton came together in about 4 hours time. (A record composition time for a Provision song)
Ideal is one of my favorite Provision songs ever, and every time I hear this song; I still tell Jen that it might just be our most incredible piece of work ever.
It's always a crowd favorite at our live shows, and a video for Ideal will appear on our DVD titled Visionary.
Ideal was released on Section 44 records as a Dual Single with the song Perversions of Conventional Warfare, and got the remix treatment by Provision, Tristraum, DJ Dissent, Marcus Fellechner, Asmodeus X, Cloudless, and People Theatre.
