Breathe   122 bpm                             MP3 Sample

I’m now involved in all your wildest obsessions. My tears are drying,
I see faith in your eyes. You’re giving in to all the fears of deception.
We always push away the thoughts we despise.
What is it though?  Is It physical? Always sensual. Like a ritual!

Is this all I’m left with? You’re the Bed I sleep in.
When you’re not here anymore. You’re the air I breathe in.

Come take a chance and we’ll be gone in a second. Don’t bother
crying now, cause I’ll never leave! Now you’re forgetting all the
past recollections. Body and soul is what it takes to believe.
What is it though? Is it sexual? Intellectual? Like a ritual!

Breathe was written while I was living in Austin, Texas in 2000. It
was one of the demos I gave Leslie when she was driving up to see
me, that convinced her we should start a new band.

This song is a fictional story about letting go of the fears of falling
in love, and just going with it. Too many times in life people don't
believe in themselves enough to just take a chance. This is what
Breathe is all about.

That feeling of first love, those first dates, and that longing for the
one you are falling in love with when they're not around.

Breathe was always one of the most popular Provision songs among
fans when we performed it live. Breathe was originally released on
the 1st WXJL compilation released by Ninthwave Records in 2001,
to an extremely positive response; and still remains a favorite of
fans and D.J.'s to this day.
